Membership Levels

Companies can become DCIA members at the following levels:


Benefits for members at the Basic membership tier:

  1. Each new member is showcased in the DCIA weekly newsletter, DCINFO, in a manner designated by the new member
  2. New members are invited to review the list of existing members to identify companies to which they would like an introduction
  3. DCIA facilitates introductions to other members
  4. Invitations to participate in industry conferences, trade shows and events
  5. Invitations to speak on panels at industry conferences and programs
  6. Invitations to participate in industry working groups on standard setting, such as the P2P PATROL working group that works closely with the FBI and ICAC to protect children online and the Consumer Disclosures Working Group (CDWG), which works with the FTC to address user notification issues
  7. Ongoing features of members in DCINFO newsletter for key business milestones
  8. Meetings with members to learn in depth about their businesses
  9. In depth effort to structure trade show to meet the needs of members, taking best practices from other trade shows they have attended

Benefits for members at the Standard membership tier:

  4. Invitations to participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and events
  5. Invitations to speak on panels at industry conferences and programs

  8. Review of all government submissions by DCIA for comment
  9. Meetings with members to learn in depth about their businesses
  10. Additional business development support to members, including facilitating meetings with non-member businesses and organizations
  11. In-depth effort to structure trade show to meet the needs of members, taking best practices from other trade shows they have attended

Benefits for members at the Premium membership tier:

  1. All the benefits of Standard membership plus
  2. Individualized campaigns based on marketing objectives of the member (e.g., licensing, financing, distribution, affiliation, PR, etc.)

Benefits for members at the Sustaining membership tier:

  1. All the benefits of Premium membership plus
  2. After one year of membership at the Sustaining membership tier, the Company is entitled to place a representative on the DCIA Board of Directors
